Nelson & Associates, Inc.(“Nelson & Associates”) operates a text messaging program to communicate with customers and prospective customers regarding insurance quotes, policy updates, appointment reminders, renewal notices, and related insurance services.

By opting in to receive text messages from Nelson & Associates, Inc., you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.

How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from us by:

• Checking the SMS consent box on any of our online quote request forms
• Texting START to (763) 250-5528
• Verbally consenting during a phone call with our team (confirmed in writing)

Consent is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the status of your insurance application or policy. You may receive messages such as:

• Quote request confirmation and follow-up
• Appointment reminders and confirmations
• Policy renewal reminders (typically sent 45 days before renewal)
• Policy status updates
• Responses to your incoming messages

You will not receive more than 5 automated messages per week from us unless you have initiated a conversation.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to all text messages sent and received. These charges are billed by your mobile carrier. Nelson & Associates, Inc. does not charge you for text messages. Contact your mobile carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message:

“You have been unsubscribed from Nelson & Associates text messages. No further messages will be sent. Call (763) 250-5528if you need assistance.”

Our text messaging program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carrier support may vary; not all carriers are supported.

Privacy

TCPA Compliance

Nelson & Associates, Inc. complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable federal and state regulations governing text messaging. We only send automated text messages to individuals who have provided express written consent.

We use a registered 10-digit long code (10DLC) messaging campaign registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) under the insurance vertical. Our Messaging Service ID is registered through our telecommunications provider.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via text message or email prior to taking effect. Continued participation in the program constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
